Tristan Duggan, the owner of Better Self Psychology, approached Brainier Brands back in 2018 when he was looking to expand his practice and thought he would chat with a few marketers. Discussions on marketing via social media and email etc, came in thick and fast.

Which is what we did over the next 3 months. And then, over the next 4 years, it’s been a case of the Better Self team going from strength to strength. We have enjoyed watching the business grow, with Tristan building an outstanding team and exhibiting a level of entrepreneurial leadership which is rare to find. We cannot wait to see where he takes his vision for mental health and wellbeing over the long term.
Better Self already had a logo which we adjusted with a new colour and typeface. As part of helping to set the business up for growth, Brainier Brands extended the brand identity and redesigned the business’s website. A complex colour pallet and range of patterns were developed, providing plenty of flexibility while remaining consistent in the business’s presentation.
Better Self has been one of our most proactive clients over the years when it comes to constantly developing their website. It has transformed from a basic 6-page website to an information-rich resource hub with close to 50 pages of information to help.
Many businesses use SEO strategies that generate nothing more than low-quality clickbait. We will not do this. For Better Self, most of the content has been written by their psychologists – the intent is to be truly helpful. The SEO benefit has been that the website now consistently ranks on page one for many of the relevant keyword searches.
